Game Preview: Chicago Bulls at New York Knicks

The New York Knicks come back to Madison Square Garden tonight, after a disgusting road effort in Cleveland last night. At this point, it seems to be only a matter of time until Mike Woodson is fired and other large shake ups occur. We are out of negative adjectives to describe this team right now, so below the jump check out the following:

- An article from Marc Stein today suggesting the Knicks could pursue Tom Thibodeau to become their head coach. Why must you get our hopes up with these pie in the sky articles? Thibs would be amazing but who really thinks Jimmy D has the acumen to pull that off? Similar to never ending Jeff Van Gundy rumors, I just can’t see this happening.

- We discussed some positives about the Knicks today. Yes, we were able to find a few. While we aren’t happy to hear Ray Felton is banged up, Pablo Prigioni is in the starting line-up tonight which should benefit this team overall. So there is a positive, right? Also look for Beno Udrih to return to the rotation.

- The Knicks are still only 3.5 games out of the playoffs?! Guess who holds the 8 seed right now? The 8-11 Chicago Bulls.

Happier times in Knicks/Bulls games…
